Cave City issues precautionary boil order

A precautionary boil water notice for Cave City has been issued due to a water system valve failure and the subsequent loss of water in one of the city’s storage tanks.

Residents are encouraged to bring drinking and cooking water to a rolling boil before using and make use of bottled water until the order is lifted.

Bottled water is available at the tornado relief center located at Cave City Middle School Gym for affected customers.
