13-year-old boy fatally shot inside Englewood home
CHICAGO – A 13-year-old boy was shot and killed inside an Englewood home Monday evening.
Chicago police said the shooting happened just before 7 p.m. at a home in the 500 block of West 65th Place.
A 13-year-old boy was inside the home when a gun discharged, hitting him in the chest. The teen was taken to Comer Children’s Hospital where he was pronounced dead, according to investigators.
Detectives are questioning a person of interest regarding the shooting.
