WASHINGTON CITY, Utah (ABC4) — The Washington City Police Department is investigating a suspicious death that was discovered late Sunday morning at a rental property.
Officers responded to the 1200 block of North Bello Alley around 11:45 a.m. after receiving a call that cleaners at a vacation rental property had reported the possible presence of a deceased female in the building, Washington City Police said in a press release.
When officers arrived and went inside, they found a female lying on the floor with apparent stab wounds. The victim was pronounced dead at the scene, and police are treating the death as suspicious.
Washington City Police are continuing to investigate the circumstances behind the incident but said that there is no further threat to the public.
