A chilly weekend began with cloudy skies and some snow flurries across parts of Chicagoland.
High pressure took control on Saturday, giving us some early sunshine and pleasant conditions, though it was windy and a little bit cooler in the wake of a cold front.
Temperatures climbed gradually heading into the afternoon.
Another low pressure system out west will bring additional showers late Saturday into Sunday.
The extended outlook calls for temps back into the low 50s for Monday with partly sunny skies. Near 50 for Tuesday with a chance of rain showers.
Expect temps in the mid to low 50s on Wednesday with partly sunny skies. More clouds & warmer for the White Sox home opener on Thursday with mostly cloudy skies and highs near 60.

SUNDAY: Blustery with on/off rain showers. Winds: SE shifts to SW 15-20, G30 mph. High near 50.
