New bakery coming to Lincoln Square infuses traditional Filipino flavors with Midwest flair

CHICAGO — Chef Justin Lerias infuses traditional Filipino flavors with a bit of Midwest flair to make delicious pastries and in just one week, his first bakery, “Del Sur,” will open its doors in Lincoln Square.

Lerias joined WGN News on Saturday morning to offer a look at some of the pastries he plans on serving up.

Del Sur Bakery, which is located at 4639 North Damen Avenue, opens its doors on Saturday, March 29.
