SANDY, Utah (ABC4) — A magical experience is coming to Utah, giving fans a chance to join the Wizarding World of Harry Potter.

Harry Potter: The Exhibition is an immersive touring exhibition that brings the Harry Potter universe directly to fans — and for the first time, it will be arriving in Utah. The exhibit will open on May 24 and go through Sept. 1 at The Shops at South Town in Sandy. Tickets are already available to purchase online.

At the exhibit, fans will see iconic moments, props, and creatures from the famous franchise, as well as costumes worn by the cast themselves.

Tom Zaller, President and CEO of Imagine Exhibitions shared that there are over 25 rooms to bring the Harry Potter universe to life, recreating settings such as classrooms, Platform 9 3/4, The Great Hall, Hagrid’s Hut, and the Forbidden Forest.

Upon entering, fans can join Gryffindor, Ravenclaw, Hufflepuff, or Slytherin and win points throughout the experience to try and earn the House Cup at the end.

Adding to the magic, fans may see their names pop up on the Marauder’s Map, make a potion, cast spells, and play Quidditch, among other interactive experiences.

“It’s pretty epic, really, when you think about it. It’s this incredible, immersive experience that’s made for the superfan and the casual fan,” Zaller said.

For those who want to bring a souvenir home, an exclusive collection of merchandise will be for sale, with jewelry apparel, and treats available.
