According to police, a 24-year-old man had been cleaning rain gutters when the ladder he was on touched powerlines, leading to the electrocution. A co-worker he was with reportedly attempted to move the ladder, which burnt her hands.
Layton City Fire said that life-saving measures were performed and the man was taken to the University of Utah Medical Center by U of U AirMed.
“Our thoughts and prayers are with the patient and their loved ones during this difficult time,” Layton City Fire wrote in an online
