SALT LAKE CITY, Utah (ABC4 Utah) – Dr. Sidni Shorter says she caught the entrepreneurial bug at the age of 7 when her mother and aunt “volunteered” her to work – she fondly considers that as the beginning of her life’s mission to build businesses and help build lives. As the President and CEO of the Utah Black Chamber of Commerce, Dr. Shorter lives that mission each day – assisting others to reach for and achieve their professional goals and in doing so, Dr. Shorter supports the community as a whole!

This Women’s History Month (March) ABC4-CW30 is celebrating Remarkable Women like Dr. Shorter who are inspiring people, helping people, and making positive impacts on our community. Through her work and her service with many other community organizations, Dr. Shorter is making a remarkable impact on Utah. Thank you Dr. Shorter.
