WNBA hoops will move into prime time for the first time ever on CBS as the Fever heads into the hostile Windy City to take on the Chicago Sky at 8 p.m. on June 7. This anticipated matchup pits rising star vs rising star as Caitlin Clark squares off against Angel Reese.
The prime time ascension for the Indiana Fever and the WBA doesn’t stop there as CBS once more pits the Fever and Sky against each other on Aug. 9 at 8 p.m. This time, it’s the Sky heading to Indianapolis under the national spotlight.
Last year, the WNBA drew record viewership with Caitlin Clark and the Indiana Fever leading the way. Already teams have planned to move to larger arenas when the Fever comes to town in anticipation of the “Caitlin Clark effect.”
