Man extradited, charged after allegedly killing 33-year-old mother, kidnapping kids
CHICAGO — A man has been extradited from Northwest Indiana to face charges, including murder, after allegedly killing his ex-girlfriend and kidnapping her children.

Teone Jones, 33, was stabbed multiple times inside a residence in the 7100 block of South Eberhart on the city’s South Side Feb. 20.

She was taken to the hospital where she was pronounced dead.

Marcus Bausley, 40, allegedly took her two children, 11 and 8, after stabbing Jones.

The 8-year-old was the subject of an AMBER Alert and was found at a gas station on the 8200 block of South Damen. Both of the children were critically stabbed.

Bausley was charged with first-degree murder, attempted first-degree murder and three counts of aggravated battery.

He was taken into custody on Feb. 24 in Crown Point. Bausley was extradited back to Chicago on Thursday.
