VALLONIA, Ind. — The Indiana Dept. of Corrections is asking for the public’s help in tracking down an inmate who reportedly walked away from his work crew in Jackson County.
Michael Anderson, 21, is currently serving a three-year DOC sentence after being convicted on two counts of burglary in Lake County. IDOC said Anderson walked away from his work crew in Vallonia around 12:45 p.m. Wednesday.
Now, IDOC officials and local police are looking to track down Anderson and bring him back to detention. Anyone with information on his whereabouts is being asked to immediately call 911.
