Country artist Steven Cade donates guitar to Rockford Rescue Mission

ROCKFORD, Ill. (WTVO) — Award-winning country artist Steven Cade visited the Rockford Rescue Mission as part of his “Giving Guitars” tour.

Steven Cade’s “Giving Guitars Tour” has visited shelters nationwide that provide housing and everyday necessities. You can watch him perform his all original song, “Big Picture Thinker” below.

After performing several songs for the crowd, Steven signed and then donated a guitar to the Rockford Rescue Mission for a resident to have. The instrument can be used for fun, and also for music therapy.

Cade said the goal of the tour is to bring hope through the gift of music. You can see the full interview with him below.

Cade has visited more than 130 organizations in 22 states and gifted more than 250 new guitars.
