US 27 shut down due to Lancaster house fire

LANCASTER, Ky. (FOX 56) — U.S. Route 27 northbound has been shut down after a Wednesday morning house fire in Lancaster.

The fire started just before 4 a.m. and firefighters said they were able to contain the flames quickly but remained on the scene battling hot spots.

LATEST KENTUCKY NEWS:

Lancaster police said that traffic is being rerouted from KY Route 39 to Crab Orchard Street.

According to the fire department, no injuries have been reported. The cause of the fire is still under investigation.
