Vidalia police said they received a call on March 10 from a victim, stating that three individuals attempted to rob him as he was returning home. After the robbery attempt, the victim said the suspects forced him to show them where another person lived.
According to police, the suspects beat the second victim while displayed an AR-15 style pistol. The second victim received injuries and had items stolen from him during the incident.
Vidalia police identified the suspects and arrested them on March 13. They were identified as LaJessica Washington, 22, and Archie Pinder, Jr., 18, both of Natchez.
Both Washington and Pinder were charged with two counts of armed robbery and one count of aggravated assault with a deadly weapon. Their bonds were set at $495,000 each.
