BOONE COUNTY, Ind. — A vehicle fire brought traffic to a standstill in the westbound lanes of Interstate 865 in Boone County Tuesday night.
According to the INDOT Traffic Management Center, officials had closed all the lanes of I-865 WB near mile marker 2.9 as authorities worked to put out an active vehicle fire. A photo of the vehicle fire can be viewed below:

In an update that was sent out around 7:26 p.m., INDOT confirmed all of the lanes had reopened.
