DCPS names new Preschool Coordinator

HENDERSON, Ky. (WEHT) — Daviess County Public Schools has named Elizabeth Caudill as the new District Preschool Coordinator.

Previous coordinator Chris Westerfield is set to retire on June 1.

According to school officials, Caudill will be coordinating the state and local preschool program for the district, as well as supporting students as they prepare for Kindergarten.

Officials say Caudill currently serves as the Instructional Couch for Foust Elementary School, and has held that position since 2022.

“I am truly honored to be named as Preschool Coordinator for Daviess County Public Schools,” says Caudill. “I am excited to collaborate with the staff to support our youngest learners. I look forward to continuing to provide an outstanding program and ensuring Kindergarten readiness!”

Caudill will begin her new position on July 1.
