ATWATER, Calif. (KSEE/KGPE) – A barbershop in Atwater is offering free haircuts to K-12 kids in need who would like to obtain a fresh look.
Back then, they asked for donations from the community and for volunteers who possessed barber and hairdresser skills who wanted to give back. The barbershop encourages anyone who would like to be a part of this event to let them know through their Instagram account.
The Covenant Barbershop in Atwater announced they will be giving free haircuts to kids in kindergarten through 12th grade. Organizers say the event will be held at the Lifeline Ministry on March 22 from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m., and it will be done on a first-come, first-served basis.
This is not the first time the barbershop offers free haircuts for children – on Feb. 8, The Covenant hosted a similar event.
The Lifeline Ministry is located at 1031 E. Bellevue Rd in Atwater. For more information, click here.
