This is part of a new initiative to help revitalize neighborhoods in Shreveport. Local leaders selected will participate in an intensive multi-day workshop to learn the best practices from experts and city leaders across the country. Harvard School of Business and Harvard Kennedy School of Government faculty will lead discussions to help leaders come up with a redevelopment plan for neighborhoods in Shreveport.

Mayor Arceneaux has selected several individuals including Theron Jackson, Pastor of Morning Star Missionary Baptist Church, and Group leader and City Attorney, Marcus Edwards. The Harvard City Leadership will pay for all costs including tuition, traveling, lodging, and meals.
