IMPD: Man injured after shots fired into west side home

INDIANAPOLIS – Someone fired shots into a west side home Tuesday morning, sending a man to an area hospital.

According to the Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department, officers were dispatched just before 7 a.m. to the 5300 block of Falcon Lane. That’s near 38th Street and Moller Road.

Police said someone fired into the home and hit the victim in the leg. He was taken to a hospital for treatment. Police didn’t disclose the extent of his injuries.

Video from the scene showed a car window shattered by gunfire.

The shooting remains under investigation. Police didn’t have information about a possible suspect.
