WALTHALL COUNTY, Miss. (WHLT) – Volunteers and organizations are working to help those affected by the tornado outbreak in Mississippi.

According to the Marion County Sheriff’s Office, heavy-duty supplies, such as garbage bags, Tupperware totes, tarps, roof tacks and relates items, are needed. Donations can be dropped off at the Marion County Sheriff’s Office or brought to Pine Grove Church for distribution.

In Walthall County, non-perishable disaster supplies and household supplies can be delivered to the Walthall County EMA on Armory Drive from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., day-by-day. Volunteer labor can report to the Tylertown Fire Department from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., day-by-day.

Mississippi Baptist Disaster Relief will be at Tylertown Baptist Church for storm victims to seek assistance for structural clean-up from 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m., day-by-day.

Starting at 2:00 p.m. on Monday, March 17, Mississippi MOVE will be at L&L Homemaker on Beulah Avenue in Tylertown. They will assist tornado victims with free food, water and hygiene products.
