Man killed in shooting on State Street in Jackson

JACKSON, Miss. (WJTV) – Jackson police are investigating after a man was shot and killed this weekend.

The shooting occurred in the 5500 block of North State Street on Saturday, March 15.

According to Detective Tommie Brown, the victim, who was identified as Earl T. James III, was pronounced deceased at a local hospital.
