Fire reported at Villa Norte Apartments in Shreveport

SHREVEPORT, La. (KTAL/KMSS) — Fire crews responded to a fire at the Villa Norte Apartments in Shreveport.

The incident occurred Saturday afternoon (March 15) when the two-story complex caught fire, although the building was vacant at the time. It took 26 firefighters just a few minutes to bring the blaze under control.

One firefighter was taken to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries. The cause of fire is still under investigation.
