The class is part of the Living Landscapes educational series, which focuses on sustainability and environmental education. As part of Earth Month celebrations, attendees will have the opportunity to observe and learn about various reptiles, including snakes, turtles and more.
Eubanks, a well-known expert in reptile education, will provide insights into the natural history of each animal and their role in the ecosystem. “Jay does an excellent job presenting the natural history of each animal and telling their importance in nature,” said Rachel Dawsey, director of the North Alabama Agriplex. “This will be a class for reptile enthusiasts or people trying to overcome a fear of cold-blooded animals.”
The cost is $20 per family, and registration is required. To sign up, visit https://agriplex.org/WPtest/living-landscapes/ or call 256-297-1044 for more details.
