The pop singer made a post to Instagram on Saturday morning saying, “New Orleans let’s have some fun this morning. Meet me in the French Quarter,” with a set of coordinates.
Sheeran performed with The Soul Rebels, who accompanied him as he rolled a microphone and amplifier through the streets of the French Quarter.
Instagram video shows the “Thinking Out Loud” singer and the New Orleans brass band processing through the area as fans follow.
Sheeran performed a new song as well as a few of his more popular songs, including “Don’t” and “Shape of You,” according to the singer-songwriter’s Instagram page.
After performing in New Orleans, Sheeran reportedly made his way to Nashville for a popup show.
