BOSSIER CITY, La. (KTAL/KMSS) — Authorities have arrested a 63-year-old man for inappropriate contact with a child under the age of thirteen.
During a Bossier Parish Sheriff’s Office investigation, they discovered Frank Granger of the 1800 Block of Castlewood Drive. They arrested Granger for two counts involving a misdemeanor sexual battery.
According to Louisiana law, ‘Misdemeanor sexual battery is the intentional touching of the breasts or buttocks of the victim by the offender using any instrumentality or any part of the body of the offender, directly or through clothing, or the intentional touching of the breasts or buttocks of the offender by the victim using any instrumentality or any part of the body of the victim, directly or through clothing, when the offender acts without the consent of the victim.’
Anyone convicted of misdemeanor sexual battery may face a fine of up to one thousand dollars, imprisonment for up to six months, or both.
He was taken into custody by Bossier Sheriff’s Office Detectives and transported to the Bossier Max for processing. Granger’s bond was set at $300,000.00
The case is still under investigation.
