By rssfeeds-admin ROCKFORD, Ill. (WTVO) — Rockford Police arrested Jailin Wood, 28, for kicking a woman’s front door down among other charges, according to court records.
On March 12th, around 7 p.m., officers were called to the 2300 block of 9th Street for reports of a home invasion. The victim told authorities Wood started arguing with her after kicking down her door.
When the woman started to call 911, the suspect took her phone and smashed it on the ground, according to court documents.
The victim told officials he then fled the scene. The woman informed police she had been threatened by Wood multiple times.
Officers found the suspect in the 2200 block of 7th Street and took him into custody.
He denied any involvement with the incident, court documents show.
Wood is charged with domestic battery causing bodily harm, interfering with the report of domestic violence and home invasion causing injury.
