No one hurt in Lafayette Parish school bus crash, officials say

LAFAYETTE PARISH, La. (KLFY) — Nine students coming home from school today escaped injury when the school bus in which they were riding crashed, officials said.

The bus crashed near Charles Burke Elementary School, but the passengers were high-school students, according to a Lafayette Parish School System spokesperson.

Officials said no injuries were reported but one of the students went with an ambulance as a precaution.
