Officers responded to the scene and said Jones was spotted in the roadway.
He ran from officers who chased after him and eventually took him into custody.
Police said over a gram of crack cocaine was located on his person.
Jones was charged with Possession of a Controlled Substance and resisting arrest. He also had multiple outstanding warrants for his arrest, police said.
