Kentucky man accused of taking missing kid to West Virginia, possessing child porn

PULASKI COUNTY, Ky. (FOX 56) — A Jackson County man is facing charges after reportedly picking up a missing kid early Tuesday and taking them to West Virginia.

A deputy with the Pulaski County Sheriff’s Office said he was called to a home early Tuesday on East Brown Ridge after learning that a child was reported missing.

LATEST KENTUCKY NEWS:

Initial investigations showed that the kid was believed to have been picked up by an adult male, later allegedly identified as Michael Moon, 47, of Annville, per PCSO.

Later that morning, a detective said that, after further investigation, Moon was arrested and charged with:

  • Possession of matter portraying a sexual performance by a minor

According to arrest records, he was booked into the Pulaski County Detention Center and is being held on a $25,000 bond.
