Grass fire turned structure fire reported near Midway

Multiple fire departments responded to a report of a grass fire that turned into a structure fire Tuesday afternoon. Baxter County 911 dispatch stated the fire occurred in the Midway area.

There were reports of the Midway Fire Department being assisted by the Grover Township and Cotter Gassville Rural fire departments. The fire reportedly occurred just west of Midway on Shasta Trail. It is unknown if there were any injuries from the blaze.

Structure fire rekindles near Midway

A structure fire that occurred earlier this west of Midway has rekindled. Baxter County 911 dispatch has confirmed the blaze Friday on Shasta Trail. Fire personnel are on the scene.
