GALLERY: Fire destroys metal building in south Abilene

ABILENE, Texas (KTAB/KRBC) – Fire destroyed a metal building in south Abilene late Tuesday night.

The fire happened at a building on the 2400 block of Ross Avenue around 11:45 p.m.

First responders arrived at the scene and found a metal building fully involved.

A press release from the Abilene Fire Department reveals several handlines were used to control the blaze.

Investigators are still working to determine the cause of this fire, which has caused an estimated $3,000 worth of damage.
