The Lady Bears had control of the game before the end of the first inning, posting 11 runs in the their half of the inning alone, defeating the Lady Lions 16-1.
While each player on the lineup played a role in the big victory, some of the notable performances from the Bears came from pitcher Kaydee Brown, with eight strikeouts and three hits for 2 RBI, Addison Starrett with two hits for 5 RBI, Kaitlin Parks with two hits for 3 RBI, and TT Ingram with a two-run homerun in the first.
The Lady Bears will play next on Friday, March 14 at Redwater. First pitch is set for 6 pm.
