COVINGTON, La. (WGNO) — The Covington Celtic Club Parade has been rescheduled due to anticipated severe weather.

According to a release from the City of Covington, the parade will now be happening on Sunday, March 16, at 11 a.m., with streets closing for it at 10 a.m.

Officials also say that the Jewel’s Cigar Block Party has been canceled.

“The safety of our residents and visitors is our highest priority.
