Police: Rockford man shoved woman’s face into a mirror after arguing about tax returns

ROCKFORD, Ill. (WTVO) — Rockford Police arrested Tyler Miller, 25, for allegedly slamming a woman’s face into a mirror.

On Feb. 27, around 2 p.m., officers responded to OSF St. Anthony Hospital regarding a domestic battery. The woman told authorities the incident started when they were arguing about tax return money.

The suspect escalated the situation by pulling her by her hair, according to court records. The victim told officials he also kicked and punched her multiple times.

The woman had multiple visible injuries, police reported.

The suspect also has pending felony cases involving delivering cannabis and possessing firearms without a FOID.

Miller is charged with domestic battery causing bodily harm and domestic battery causing physical contact.
