MONDAY NIGHT: Mainly clear, staying unseasonably warm. Winds: South/southwest at 10-15 mph, gusting to 20. Low: 50 around midnight.

Markedly cooler conditions ahead on Tuesday behind a lake-induced cold frontal passage.  Highs near 50 degrees will occur early in the day followed by blustery, much cooler conditions thereafter.

A wind shift to the NNE down the length of Lake Michigan will result in temperatures falling into the 30s (first in areas closest to the lake followed by inland areas as the afternoon progresses) later in the day amid some wind gusts that could reach 30 mph at times.
