10-year-old found after possible child abduction in Henderson

HENDERSON, Ky. (WEHT) — A 10-year-old girl has been found after Henderson police reported a possible child abduction Monday evening.

According to the Henderson Police Department, the girl was taken around 5 p.m. in the 1200 block of Loeb Street.

We’re told the suspect is described as a white male, approximately 35 years old, with a bushy beard and slicked black hair.

Authorities say the suspect was seen driving a white 1999-2000 GMC or Chevy van with red lettering on the side. They are asking those who see this van to call 911.

HPD has released a photo of the child, but are choosing not to identify her at this time. Authorities say additional updates will be released as more information becomes available.
