By rssfeeds-admin ROCKFORD, Ill. (WTVO) — Rock River Disposal will begin collecting yard waste later this month.
The City of Rockford announced Monday that yard waste collection will resume on Monday, March 24th, 2025.
In the city, yard waste is collected in 32 gallon or smaller garbage cans clearly marked with an “X”.
Twigs, branches, and other types of large brush must be placed into bundles no more than 4 feet long by 2 feet wide, and tied with string or twine.
Weight on those objects is restricted to 50 pounds.
