Crews respond to fire at near southeast side body shop

INDIANAPOLIS – Crews responded to a fire at an Indianapolis auto body shop on the near southeast side late Sunday night.

According to the Indianapolis Fire Department, firefighters were dispatched around 11:10 p.m. to 2043 Minnesota St. after a fire broke out at the business.

Crews arrived to find fire showing and made an “aggressive attack,” according to IFD. They had the fire under control in about 20 minutes.

No civilians or firefighters were injured. The cause remains under investigation.
