PHILADELPHIA, Miss. (WJTV) – Country music singer Chris Stapleton will perform two exclusive fundraiser shows at the historic Ellis Theater in downtown Philadelphia.

The shows will take place on Saturday, April 12. All proceeds from these special performances will support the construction of Marty Stuart’s Congress of Country Music Community Hall.

“Chris Stapleton is one of the finest artists of our time,” said Marty Stuart, Grammy-winning Country Music Hall of Famer, and founder of the Congress of Country Music. “To have Chris Stapleton perform at the Ellis Theater, in the heart of my hometown, is an honor and a moment we will never forget. We are thankful that Chris has so graciously donated his time to help raise money for the Congress of Country Music.”

The Ellis Theater will host Stapleton’s two performances at 5:00 p.m. and 8:00 p.m. on Saturday, April 12. Tickets for both shows can be purchased through The Ellis Theater Box Office, ellistheater.org or Ticketmaster.com beginning Wednesday, March 12 at 10:00 a.m.
