WEST JORDAN, Utah (ABC4) — Officials are investigating a shooting incident that left one person dead early Sunday morning.
The victim — identified only as a male — was found at the scene with a gunshot wound to the chest. He was taken to a local hospital, where he later died, police said.
According to a spokesperson with the West Jordan Police Department, officers were responding to a disturbance call around 7900 South and 6400 West. The incident occurred around 3:40 a.m. on Sunday.
Additional information about the victims or any potential suspects was not immediately shared with ABC4.com.
Officials said the investigation is still active, but there is no threat to the public.
