
The TPSO reported the crash happened on Sisters Road at Sontheimer Road around 7 a.m.
TPSO deputies said an initial investigation shows that 28-year-old Alizabeth Scott was driving a U-Haul truck east on Sisters Road when it allegedly did not stop at a stop sign. The U-Haul then reportedly hit a truck heading south on Sontheimer Road.
Scott suffered critical injuries and was taken to a hospital, where she later died. Two other passengers in the U-Haul suffered minor injuries and were taken to a hospital for treatment.
The truck driver and passenger were uninjured.
According to the TPSO, Scott and a passenger in the U-Haul were not properly restrained at the time of the crash.
