CHICAGO – A 43-year-old man has been charged with the June 2024 murder of a 39-year-old man in Grand Crossing.
Authorities said Chicago police officers and the U.S. Marshals Great Lakes Regional Fugitive Task Force arrested Reginal Petty on Thursday in the 9100 block of South Bishop.
Petty was identified as the suspect who, on June 17, 2024, shot and killed a 39-year-old man in the 7700 block of South South Chicago Avenue in Grand Crossing, according to investigators.
Petty has been charged with one count of first degree murder.
No other information was released.
