According to a news release, the Amite ALDI will be located inside the former Winn-Dixie at 804 W Oak Street and offer a variety of organic meats, produce, seafood, cheese, wine and more.
The grocery chain also offers seasonal products, “limited-time ALDI finds” and curbside pickup options.
The new store will be ALDI’s first location in Amite.
“As shoppers look for ways to stretch their dollars further, our new ALDI store will deliver the Amite community affordable, quality groceries, a quick, easy shopping experience, shelves stocked with only the best products and on-trend ALDI Finds,” said Heather Moore, Loxley vice president for ALDI.
ALDI officials said the store will open on Thursday, March 13, at 9 a.m., and the first 100 shoppers will get a gift bag with ALDI-exclusive items and a gift card.
