Teen boy killed in Baton Rouge apartment complex shooting, police investigate
BATON ROUGE, La. (Louisiana First) — Baton Rouge Police Department detectives are investigating a fatal shooting that killed a 14-year-old boy late Friday night.
The shooting occurred around 10:21 p.m. at an apartment complex located in the 5900 block of Cadillac Street. Authorities say an unknown assailant or assailants fired multiple shots into the residence, striking Derrick Dorsey multiple times. BRPD said Dorsey succumbed to his injuries at the scene.
Police have not yet identified any suspects, and the investigation remains ongoing.
