During a raid on Thursday, the sheriff’s office said they recovered a significant amount of LSD leading to multiple arrests this week.
In all, four suspects were arrested and booked into jail in Johnson County.
The sheriff’s office believes the homemade lab was manufacturing the hallucinogenic drug.
Investigators admit the case is unusual because no one could actually remember the last time they busted an LSD lab.
“As we were discussing it, none of us remember seeing an actual LSD lab,” said major Damien Katt. “I think this is only one we’ve seen as far as anybody can remember.”
The lab was discovered during a search on Thursday inside the home in the 900 block of Stone Road, which is a small dead end street near Smith Valley Road and I-69.
Because of the uncommon nature of the bust, the Indiana State Police and the DEA were called in to assist with the case, which all started with a tip from a citizen in February.
“The citizens of Johnson County know when something doesn’t look right and when people come forward with that information, that helps us help our community,” said Katt.
Clint Walker, 47, was arrested for drug possession with the intent to manufacture.
Three others who all lived at the home, 44-year-old Crystal Roseberry, 71-year-old Randy Walker and 69-year-old Cathleen Walker were arrested on lesser drug related charges.
The charges are as follows:
| Suspect | Charge |
| Clint Walker, 47 | Maintaining a common nuisance Controlled substance-possess precursors with the intent to manufacture Controlled Substance dealing in a schedule 1, 2, 3 narcotic |
| Crystal Roseberry, 44 | Maintaining a common nuisance |
| Randy Walker, 71 | Maintaining a common nuisance Possession of a controlled substance – marijuana |
| Cathleen Walker, 69 | Maintaining a common nuisance Possession of a controlled substance – marijuana |
A Google search shows the address is also listed as a nonprofit business called Truth Initiative Limited, which dissolved in 2022.
The sheriff’s office said the bust reflects their continued commitment to combating illegal drug activity of all kinds.
“Big picture we don’t want drugs in Johnson County,” said Katt. “We take a strong stand on narcotics.”
Formal charges are still pending. Ultimately, that decision will be up to the Johnson County prosecutor.
