Shreveport police searching for runaway 16-year-old

SHREVEPORT, La. (KTAL/KMSS) — The Shreveport Police Department is requesting the public’s help in locating a 16-year-old.

According to a press release, SPD says, Shonnia Hamilton was last known to be in the 6800 block of Raspberry Lnane on Monday March 3.

Police say Hamilton is described as a 5 foot 2 inches tall female with brown eyes and black hair.

She was last seen wearing a blueish-grey jacket and white Crocs.

Officials say the Shreveport Police Department also reminds the public that harboring a runaway child is a crime and can result in legal consequences.

If you have any information, please come forward to help bring Shonnia home safely.
