According to police, the victim said she was working with Barrett Korinta on Tuesday at the Land-O-Frost Factory when he said he could close her into the room.
Korinta allegedly closed the door and latched the lock, trapping her in the room, and then turned on the machine, causing hot steam and chemicals to spray while the victim was locked inside.
The victim said she was able to stop the machine with an emergency switch inside the room before falling unconscious on the floor.
She was transported to the hospital, according to authorities, where she received treatment for minor injuries to her face and head and was also treated the next day for a concussion.
Korinta was charged with wanton endangerment and unlawful imprisonment. He was also terminated from the facility following the incident.
