By rssfeeds-admin JACKSON, Miss. (WJTV) – An 18-wheeler knocked down power lines in the City of Jackson.
The incident occurred at the intersection of Ridgewood Road and Meadowbrook Road on Thursday, March 6.
Bailey Martin, press secretary for the Mississippi Department of Public Safety (DPS), said the 18-wheeler caught a power line wire when it was traveling through the intersection.
According to Martin, several active lines are down, and Entergy Mississippi has cut the power in the area.
Drivers are encouraged to find an alternate route.
