Uber launching shuttle service for riders leaving the United Center

CHICAGO — Uber is launching a shuttle service for riders leaving the United Center.

The new “Uber shuttle” promotes rides starting at $5, to several stops around the city.

Uber says, instead of waiting to find a ride out of the arena, users can now reserve a seat up to two days before an event.

The service works through the Uber app.

The current stops are at Ogilvie Transportation Center, Union Station, the Magnificent Mile and Old Town.

Normal Uber rides will still be available at the United Center.
