Investigators said the burglary took place in a single-family home in the Steele Park neighborhood on the night of March 2 sometime between 11:30 p.m. and 4 a.m.
“Last week, prior to the burglary, Beaverton Police responded to the same residence, where the homeowner was found deceased,” officials said. “Now, less than a week later, a male suspect — captured on the home’s surveillance camera — is a person of interest in the burglary.”
Officials claim the person in the video had made a forced entry into the home and stole property of the deceased owner.
Anyone with information about this person of interest is encouraged to contact law enforcement.
